Google introduced the Pixel 9 Pro Fold in global markets, including India, during its latest Made by Google hardware launch event. This marks the company’s second foldable phone under the Pixel brand, and notably, the first to debut in India. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is part of the Pixel 9 series, all powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset. The device features an 8-inch inner display, a 6.3-inch cover screen, and is equipped with a 4,650mAh battery supporting up to 45W fast charging.
Pixel 9 Pro Fold Price in India and Availability
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is priced at Rs. 1,72,999 in India and will be available in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The handset comes in Obsidian and Porcelain color options.
Unlike previous Pixel models that were exclusive to Flipkart, the Pixel 9 series, including the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, will be available through Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital retail outlets. Sales in India will commence on August 22. Additionally, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold can be purchased from Google-owned Walk-in Centres in Delhi and Bengaluru, with a future location planned for Mumbai.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is a dual-SIM (Nano+eSIM) device running on Android 14 out-of-the-box. It is guaranteed to receive seven years of Android OS updates, security patches, and Pixel Drop enhancements. The phone is powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset and the Titan M2 security coprocessor, paired with 16GB of RAM.
The device features an 8-inch LTPO OLED Super Actua Flex inner display with a resolution of 2,076×2,152 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 2,700 nits of peak brightness. The outer display is a 6.3-inch OLED Actua screen with a resolution of 1,080×2,424 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s rear camera setup includes a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/1.7 aperture, a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus and an f/2.2 aperture, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto camera offering up to 5x optical zoom and 20x Super Res Zoom with an f/3.1 aperture. Both the wide and telephoto lenses are equipped with optical and electronic image stabilization.
For selfies, the cover display houses a 10-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture, while the inner screen features another 10-megapixel camera with the same aperture. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold includes several Google-exclusive camera and editing features, such as Add Me, Hands-free astrophotography, Face Unblur, Top Shot, Frequent Faces, Video Boost, Wind Noise Reduction, Audio Magic Eraser, Macro Focus Video, Made You Look, and Magic Editor.
In India, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is available with 256GB of internal storage, while a 512GB variant is offered in the US and other regions. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, ultra-wideband (UWB), and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. The device also includes a range of sensors, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, e-compass, barometer, and proximity sensor.
