Panasonic has launched a new smartphone in its Eluga series, the Eluga S. Since the trend is of a selfie phone, Panasonic does not want to lag behind and there is a 5 MP front camera to do the work. To click selfies, users can simply blink their eyes and the phone will recognize the eye gesture to initiate the automatic three-second countdown. Other features are a 5-inch HD IPS display, a 1.4 GHz true octa-core processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB. The phone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It sports an 8 MP Auto Focus rear camera and the juice comes from a 2100 mAh battery. The device is priced at Rs 11,190.
