India workers will monitor convenience stores, gas stations in the US remotely

A US-based CCTV company Live Eye Surveillance is planning to hire people to monitor convenience stores and gas stations from remote locations in India. The company will use surveillance cameras to constantly watch over stores. What is unique about the entire idea is that remote human operators will intervene whenever they spot suspicious activities at the store.

Sample video has been released by the company. In which a departmental store in which three people are seen standing behind the counter, but only two of them are employees. Suddenly, there’s a voice from one of the speakers that asks people at the store to confirm the identity of the third person who isn’t an employee but is standing behind the counter.

Live Eye Surveillance claims that it has provided best-in-class services to some of the most well-known corporations such as 7-Eleven, 76, Chevron, Food-Mart, Dairy Queen, and Shell.
