Coolpad has launched the Note 3 Plus phablet in India. The phone comes as the successor to the Coolpad Note 3, which was launched in the country in October last year. The company also launched the Coolpad Note 3 Lite in January this year as one of the most affordable smartphones to offer a fingerprint sensor and 3GB of RAM for Rs 6,999. Similar to the first two Coolpad Note 3 devices, the Note 3 Plus also gets a fingerprint sensor on the back panel.

As far as the other specs are concerned, the Coolpad Note 3 Plus sports a 5.5-inch full HD display, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the brand’s custom CoolUI 6.0 on top. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. For storage, it gets 16GB of internal memory, which can be further increased up to 64GB by inserting a microSD card.

For imaging, the Coolpad Note 3 Plus comes with a 13MP primary snapper with a dual-tone LED flash, and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers 4G LTE support, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, USB OTG and A-GPS. A 3,000mAh battery keeps the phone running. The Coolpad Note 3 Plus has been priced at Rs 8,999, and will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting May 13th in Gold and White variants.
