Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones have been launched with several features including Acoustic Noise Cancellation, Aware Mode, and a noise-rejecting algorithm for better clarity for calls. the headphones support Bluetooth v5.1 for long-range wireless connectivity. The microphones on the earcups will constantly monitor outside noise to support the Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology. The Aware Model lets in some noise from the surroundings. The headphones are lightweight and the earcups are made of synthetic leather. The headband is made of glass-filled nylon. It protects the headphones from falls and also maintains the shape.
The price for the Bose QuietComfort 45 is $329 which is roughly Rs. 24,000. Pre-orders for the device have started on the company site. The device will be shipped starting September 23. The two colour options available are Black and White Smoke. They weigh about 445 grams and the range for wireless connectivity is measured to be a maximum of 30-feet. The pivot points on the headphones feature a cast-metal hinge that provides durability.
Users are given two options for noise cancellation- Quiet Mode and Aware Mode. The former cancels all noise but the latter employs external mics to let in ambient sounds into the headphones. It will ensure that emergency sounds reach the users even though they are listening on their headphones. Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones guarantee a 24-hour battery performance on a single charge. It is provided with a USB Type-C charging port and completely charges in 2.5 hours. The company also claims a 2.5hour playback time on a mere 15 minutes charging.
The headphones will also include an audio cable to enable listening in wired mode. High-fidelity audio is supported by TriPort acoustic architecture and Volume-optimised Active EQ. Four external microphones are given on Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones for enhanced voice pickup. The noise-rejecting algorithm filters environmental sounds to ensure better audio quality. The headphones can be paired with the Bose Music app, and also provides voice assistant support. It can also be connected to two devices simultaneously with the help of multi-point technology.
