Pokémon franchise’s 23rd animated movie debuted in Japan a year ago. Now it is coming on Netflix. Except for Japan, China, and Korea the movie titled Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle will have a global debut on Netflix on the 8th of October. This will mark the movie’s international debut.
The movie focuses on the story of Tarzan being incorporated into the Pokémon world. Ash and Pikachu, while exploring the forest of Okoya, will meet a boy named Koko. Koka was brought up by a Pokémon named Dada Zarude, which makes Koko think that he is also a Pokémon. But upon meeting Ash and Pikachu he will start to doubt his own existence as a Pokémon.
Prior to the movie’s release, users are given the option to add Dada Zarude and a shiny Celebi to their Pokémon Sword and Shield roster. They can do this by signing up for the Trainer’s Club newsletter before September 25th. A special Pokémon Go event is also planned by the Pokémon Company, Niantic, and Netflix for the release of the movie. More information about the event will be shared soon.
