At Mobile World Congress, during the unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S5, the company has announced that it will be made available in 150 countries worldwide on April 11. We are more than a month away from the official date, but the device is already available for purchase on Saholic for Rs 45,500. The eCom site has mentioned the delivery date for the device as March 8 and promises to pay Rs 50 per day for delay. You can also opt for an EMI scheme, where you need to pay Rs 2,839 per month.
To brush-up the specifications once again, the Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch 1080p display, a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Other features include a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2,800mAh battery. Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. The device is water resistant and also includes features like a fingerprint scanner on the home button and a heart-rate monitor.
