Apple’s unannounced iOS 8 screenshots were posted to a Chinese microblog site Weibo. These screenshots show how iOS 8 is going to look like. The images also reveals some new apps, including Healthbook, TextEdit, Tips and Preview. The TextEdit looks to be a replacement for the Notes app. The Preview is expected to serve the same purpose as its OS X counterpart, that is viewing documents and PDFs. On the other hand, Tips could be to introduce new users. There were previous rumors that health will be a prominent feature in the next version of iOS and so there is Healthbook.
iOS 8 was prominent in leaks for a while, we heard from 9to5Mac that Apple will once again include public transit directions in Maps when iOS 8 launches later this year. There is no legitimacy of the leaked screenshots and since we are several months behind the official launch, anything could change over the course of time.
