Remember the allegations against an ex-Microsoft employee, Alex Kibkalo, for leaking Windows 8 screenshots before launch, now this guy has been sentenced to three months in prison along with a fine of $100. He is found guilty of stealing trade secrets from Microsoft and leaking them to a French blogger who has then posted them on his blog.
Kibkalo has leaked the source code for the version of Windows 8 used by ARM devices and Microsoft’s Activation Server Software Development Kit. He was arrested in March, earlier this year. To get into the root, Microsoft has accessed bloggers account and then eventually discovered the connection between the two people. The full judgement is embedded after the break:
