AMD’s new Radeon RX 6600 XT coming on August 11th

AMD is launching another entry-level RX 6000-series GPU on August 11th. The new RX 6600 XT is based on RDNA 2 and will provide a 1080p gaming experience. A next-gen 4K gaming setup is not necessary for this.

The price for Radeon RX 6600 XT is lower than that of RX 6700 XT which was launched earlier this year. The price for the new device is set at $379. It consists of 32 compute units and has 8GB of GDDR6 RAM. It also has a 2359 MHz base clock, 2589 MHz boosted clock and will take up 160W of power.

This device will be helpful for the players who don’t have the setup for a 4K gaming rig. For a 4K gaming rig, it is necessary to have the latest GPUs along with displays that can support higher pixels. The company also noted that the 1080p panels were the most sold gaming displays. This is why AMD decided to launch the Radeon RX 6600 XT.

The RX 6600 XT can be purchased from August 11th through ASRock, Asus, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Sapphire, XFX, and Yeston.
