Wacom, a leading name in digital design tools, has announced the next generation of its popular Cintiq pen display series, designed to enhance the creative workflow for designers, illustrators, and digital artists. The new lineup includes three models: Cintiq 16, Cintiq 24, andCintiq 24 Touch, all of which feature a sleeker and more lightweight design than their predecessors.

Precision Meets Portability

These new pen displays are engineered for maximum precision and comfort, now boasting thinner bezels and reduced weight—a significant improvement for professionals who prioritize portability without compromising functionality.

Each device supports the Wacom Pro Pen 3, an upgrade from the earlier Pro Pen 2. This third-generation stylus delivers ultra-responsive performance with a 12ms response time, 8,192 pressure sensitivity levels, and 60-degree tilt support. Users can customize the grip, swap nibs, and even adjust balance weights to tailor the pen’s feel. Impressively, the Pro Pen 3 is battery-free, reducing downtime and simplifying usage.

An enhanced internal chip replicates the natural experience of drawing on paper, bringing high levels of precision and fluidity to digital art creation.

High-Quality Displays for True-to-Life Visuals

All three models come equipped with 2.5K high-resolution displays:

Each panel supports a 60Hz refresh rate, paired with anti-glare glass that minimizes reflections while offering paper-like friction when drawing. Wacom emphasizes the importance of color accuracy and visual clarity, making these displays ideal for artists working in digital illustration, animation, or visual effects.

Flexible Stand Options and Touch Gestures

While the Cintiq 16 includes foldable legs for a 20-degree drawing angle, both Cintiq 24 models ship with adjustable stands, offering a wider range of ergonomic viewing positions. The stand for the 16-inch model is also available for separate purchase.

Connectivity is seamless, with USB-C, HDMI, and USB-A ports, though the Cintiq 16 can function with just one USB-C cable for both display signal and power.

The Cintiq 24 Touch is the only model in the lineup to support multi-touch gestures, allowing users to zoom, rotate, and pan directly with up to 10 fingers—a game-changing feature that boosts productivity and creative freedom.
