Uber has enhanced its teen accounts with new features focused on convenience and security. In addition to existing capabilities like trip tracking and Uber Eats integration, the rideshare company has introduced several new features for added functionality. These updates are available for teen accounts across all 50 states and in over 250 cities.

One significant update is the introduction of the guardian booking feature, which now allows parents to book rides for their teens directly from their own phones—something that wasn’t previously possible. Parents using this feature will have access to the same security measures that are in place for teen accounts. Additionally, parents with an Uber One membership can now extend its benefits to their teens, including perks like free delivery and cashback on rides. Any cashback earned will be credited to the teen’s account for future use.

Teen accounts also now have the option to use Uber Reserve, enabling them to schedule rides up to 90 days in advance. Alternatively, rides can be booked with as little as 30 minutes’ notice. Another new feature is the ability for teens to use Uber Cash if they receive Uber gift cards, allowing them to independently fund future rides or food orders.
