One of the biggest rumor that has ever surrounded Apple is with respect to the building of television. Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs biography had the inclusion of the possibility of an Apple branded TV set. Before he died he said, “I’d like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use … It would be seamlessly synced with all of your devices and with iCloud … It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it.”

Now there is a new twist in the entire story, according to Business Insider, ex-Wall Street Journal reporter Yukari Kane writes in her new book Haunted Empire: Apple After Steve Jobs, that Jobs was against making a TV set. She writes that when Jobs was asked about the possibility of Apple TV set at the company’s annual meeting of its top 100 employees and executives, in 2010, his immediate response was “no.” He continued saying that “TV is a terrible business. They don’t turn over and the margins suck.”

But everyone knows that Jobs says one thing and do something else, so it’s entirely possible that he changed his mind after finding something innovative about TV before death. For us, to know the truth, there is no option but to wait.
