Sony has launched its three new wireless speakers on Monday. The speakers are SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500, and the SRS-XG500 and they come with Sony’s proprietary Mega Bass to offer enhanced bass effect. It will also feature a Live Sound Mode and options to use them for Karaoke and as a guitar amplifier. It will also have ambient illumination lighting.

Sony has fixed prices for its three new speakers in India. The Sony SRS-XP700 will have a price tag of Rs. 32,990. Sony SRS-XP500’s price is set at Rs. 29,990 while that of Sony SRS-XG500 is set at Rs. 32,990. Customers can get hold of the speakers starting from August 10th.

The Sony SRS-XP700 wireless speaker will have a tweeter in the front and back and two woofers which will deliver a surround sound experience. Sony calls this an Omnidirectional Party Sound. The specifically designed drivers on the speaker are in rectangular shape which will increase the speaker’s area and push out maximum air each time. Connectivity includes a stereo mini-jack, USB Type-A, microphone input, and guitar input. It also offers Bluetooth connectivity along with support for SBC, AAC, and LDAC formats. It has an IPX4 rating for splash resistance and is expected to give a battery performance that lasts 25 hours. It can also be connected with the Fiestable app.

The Sony SRS-XP500 is also similar in design to SRS-XP700. But it does not provide Omni Directional Sound. It has the same connectivity options and similar features including Ambient Lighting, Karaoke, and Guitar Input like that of SRS-XP700. It also has an IPX4 rating and provides SBC, AAC, and LDAC support. The speaker is expected to have a battery life of 20 hours upon a single charge and it weighs 5.5kg.

The Sony SRS-XG500 features an all-horizontal design and has an IP66 rating for both dust and water. It also has two tweeters and two woofers but it doesn’t support the Omni Directional Sound. It doesn’t have the USB Play and Charge feature but has a USB Type-A port for playing the audio. It also has connectivity options for stereo jack, mic input, and guitar input.
