You can make your next Zoom meeting interesting. Snapchat’s desktop app will help you turn into a cartoon character on your call.
The Snap Camera is from Snapchat and it has recently added cartoon filters from the mobile app. These filters have the option to turn you into a DreamWorks/Pixar creation. Although it can’t catch your entire emotions, it still works smoothly. And the availability in the desktop app will help you to use the filter in your next Zoom call.
You have to have the Snap Camera app downloaded on your desktop. Access to microphone and camera has to be granted and your desktop should be running on Windows 10 or macOS10.13 or later. Once you open the app, start Zoom and allow Snap Camera to be your camera for the call. On a Mac, you can do it by clicking on “Video” under the “Preferences” in the top menu. On a PC, it will be available on the upper-right corner of the app’s home interface, and select “Video” from there. In the drop-down titled “Camera”, choose “Snap Camera”.
After this, choose the filter you need from the Snap Camera app itself. The feature mentioned above is named “Cartoon Style”. You can also switch between different cartoon styles in between if you click on video or create a custom hotkey.
