The SanDisk Ixpand Wireless Charger Sync has the additional ability of automatic data storage and backup for Qi-compatible devices. The new devices can be used with iPhone 8 and above, Samsung Galaxy S7 and later, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and later, AirPods Pro, and other Qi-compatible smartphones.
In India, the new SanDisk Ixpand Wireless Charger Sync with 256GB storage costs Rs. 9,999. The Ixpand Wireless 15W fast charger with QC 3.0 adapter is priced at Rs. 2,999. The fast charger without the adapter will be available for Rs. 1999. The company provides a two-year limited warranty for both chargers. It will be available on Amazon, Croma, Poorvika, and other leading electronic stores.
SanDisk Ixpand Wireless Charger Sync will back up photos and videos automatically in full resolution. This will also free up space on the device. The backup will take place when the device is placed on the base. It will also have personal backup profiles for each user which allows sharing up to three family members. To enable the backup, a wireless connection, Ixpand Wireless Charger app, and iOS 11 or Android 5.0 and later. The app can be downloaded from the App Store and the Google Play Store.
The SanDisk Ixpand Wireless Charger Sync offers 10W of power. It has a 6-foot (1.8m) cable inside the box. Western Digital claims that the Ixpand Wireless Charger Sync can be used with most rubber, plastic, and TPU cases that are less than 3mm thick.
The SanDisk Ixpand Wireless Charger 15W features a circular base. It comes with a SanDisk AC adaptor and a 4.5-foot (1.5m) USB Type-C cable. The soft rubber ring on the device protects phones from slipping. It also has features like temperature control, foreign object detection, and adaptive charging. This is to keep the phone’s battery safe. In the case of SanDisk Ixpand Wireless Charger 15W, the company claims to charge through most rubber, plastic, and TPU cases that are less than 5mm thick.
