Samsung Neo G9 is coming to the market long after it has been announced in March. The big curved gaming displays by Samsung are thus getting an upgrade. The new screen offers curved Quantum Mini LED, and has a 49-inch ultra-wide panel with a 32:9 aspect ratio.

In 2020, Samsung had released Odyssey G9 and Odyssey Neo G9 can be called as a successor of it. The 2020 version had an understated screen. Samsung uses the same system in its range of Neo QLED TVs. It also has the Quantum Matrix Technology. The 12-bit gradation gives more control over the individual LEDs for the backlighting. Brighter performance is guaranteed by 2,048 dimming zones. The company also claims that the Odyssey Neo G9 has 2,000 nits of peak brightness while maintaining a static contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The panel has Dual Quad High-Definition with 240Hz refresh rate with 1ms response time. It also offers HDR10+ support.

Connectivity support includes two HDMI 2.1 with support for Variable Refresh Rate and Adaptive Sync on a DisplayPort 1.4. it also includes support for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. There are also a headphone port and two USB ports.

The casing is gloss white which is combined with the company’s “infinity core” lighting with 52 colours and five lighting effects. There are options for tilting and swiveling the stand and a VESA 100 mounting support if you wish to have your screen float over your desk.
