Samsung has today launched its latest flagship device Galaxy S5 in India. The device will be priced between Rs 51,000 and Rs 53,000, when it will be available for purchase from April 11. The company is taking pre-booking for the Galaxy S5 from March 29.
To brush-up the specifications once again, the Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs Exynos 5 Octa processor with a set of 1.9GHz A15 quad-core and 1.3GHz A7 quad-core processors paired with 2GB of RAM. Other features include 16GB of internal memory that can be extended up to 64GB, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2,800mAh battery. Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The device is water resistant and also includes features like a fingerprint scanner on the home button and a heart-rate monitor.
