Razer had first launched Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds in 2019. It was one of the first to include a low-latency Bluetooth mode for gaming. The second-generation Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds will include some additional features and will see a $30 increase on its price tag than the earlier model.

The earbuds will have active noise cancellation (ANC) and will also feature RGB lighting. The noise-canceling experience will not parallel that of the Razer’s $200 Hammerhead True Wireless Pro earbuds. But it will still manage to filter out some noise. The colour and brightness of the Chroma RGB can be adjusted using the Razer Audio App. The earbuds also include support for Bluetooth 5.2 and Razer claims that the new design will also improve sound isolation and fit.

The battery performance will depend on the usage of RGB and ANC features. If both these features are not in use, the company claims a battery life of six-and-a-half hours on a single charge which will extend to 26 hours with the charging case. If RGB and ANC features are used then it will have 4 hours of battery life that can be extended to 20 hours if a charging case is used.

The Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds will be available on Razer’s website from today and will cost $129.99.
