Nokia announces Lumia 930 with 20-megapixel PureView camera

Nokia has unveiled the Lumia 930 at the ongoing BUILD 2014 conference in San Francisco. This is Nokia’s latest flagship smartphone running Windows Phone 8.1. The features of the device a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display and is powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and unfortunately there is no microSD card slot for expanding the storage.

The highlighted feature of the device is its 20-megapixel PureView camera at the back, which is equipped with dual LED flash, ZEISS optics, Backside-illuminated image sensor, High resolution zoom 2x, Optical image stabilization, advanced Rich Recording and imaging experience with new Living Images innovation. It houses a 2420mAh battery with Wireless charging capabilities. Connectivity options include nano-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.

The Nokia Lumia 930 is expected to roll out globally in June starting with Europe, Asia, Middle East and India, available from $599 (Rs 35,800 approximately) before taxes and subsidies.
