Motorola is all geared up for the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017). It is expected that the company will show off its Moto G5 Plus handset at the event.

As the alleged launch of the Moto G4 Plus’ successor draws closer, new images pertaining to the supposed Moto G5 Plus have got leaked online running CPU-Z, the detection app. The latest leak seems to be authentic also offers a peek into the handset’s specs and features.

This is not the first time, the Moto G5 Plus has leaked online. Earlier in January. The new photos of Moto G5 Plus which have surfaced online shows a CPU-Z on the device’s screen. The specs have nearly been confirmed after running the information detection app CPU-Z on Moto G5 Plus.

For the unfamiliar, CPU-Z is a freeware system, profiling and monitoring app for Microsoft Windows and Android which can detect details such as the CPU, RAM, motherboard and other hardware related features of a modern PC. In case of a PC, the information is brought into only one window, while for Android devices it opens as a normal application.

The latest leak suggests that the Moto G5 Plus (XT1685) will sport a 5.5-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 403 dots per inch (dpi). The device will be reportedly equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. The chipset is expected to clock at 2.0 GHz. The smartphone as revealed by the images will house 4 GB of RAM and will have internal storage capacity of up to 32 GB. However, consumers will only be able to use up to 21 GB.

Even if it is not listed by the app, the device is expected to house a 3,080 mAh battery and run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat software.

There is no official confirmation regarding the price of the handset, however, it is expected to bear a price tag of $300.
