Lava has launched its budget smartphone, Iris X1 with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, for Rs 7,999. The Iris X1 comes with 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS (854×480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.2GHz Broadcom’s BCM23550 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card. The phone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto focus, LED flash, a BSI+ sensor and 1080p videos support. There is also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 3G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and AGPS. Iris X1 will be available in black and white colors.
