For BlackBerry’s portable equipment business, the battle is genuine. In spite of the fact that the Android Powered Priv produced a considerable measure of pre-discharge build up, deals have been lower than expected.Despite the shortcomings of the Priv, seen by many as the Canadian company’s last real hope of competing in the hardware market, there have been hints of two new mid-rangers for release at some point this year. CEO John Chen has now affirmed that a few new Android gadgets will be forthcoming, and both will be significantly less expensive than the Priv.
The two new gadgets will both keep running on Android, one will have a Keyboard whilst the other will be a touchscreen. According to Chen, the handsets will be estimated at around $300-$400.
