Info Edge is the parent company of Naukri.com. The company has recently signed a deal to acquire the HR technology firm Axilly Labs. The startup will be acquired for 21 crores. Info Edge in a statement said the acquisition will help the company to become a leading name and also help them provide new technological solutions and services.
Axilly Labs was founded in 2015 by Iliyas Shirol and Rohit Agrawal and has a data assessment platform that helps them to make perfect decisions in hiring, skilling, upskilling, and employee management. It has a strong customer base with many companies like Capgemini, Fractal Analytics, PhonePe, UpGrad, and Simplilearn. Axilly Labs lead investors include Mumbai Angels, 3one4 capital, and Aarin Capital.
With the acquisition, Axilly Labs will be able to provide intelligent solutions to companies in hiring from Naukri.com. Thus, they may be able to maintain their position as a top player in the field of online recruitment. Axilly Labs CEO Agrawal said that the startup will continue its services as a business unit of Info Edge.
