Google has some plans to make its Voice transcription better and it is seeking your help for the purpose. Google Tech Lead Manager Alex Wiesen says that its easy to read messages quickly with the tool, but at the same time admits that they can be “unintentionally hilarious.” The company is launching a project to make transcriptions more useful and accurate with the help of users.
When you log into Google Voice on the web, you’ll be given the choice to anonymously share your voicemail messages to be analyzed for accuracy by automated systems. If you opt to participate in the program, while you already submit individual messages for analysis, you’ll also be automatically sending all your messages to the system. If you change your mind at any point of time, you can always disable it through Google Voice’s settings page.
