Google is reported to expand cloud services in India. A new cluster of cloud data centers is to be built in and around New Delhi. This is the second of its kind in the country and the tenth in the Asia Pacific. This will aid in offering more secure cloud services and address problems such as disaster recovery within India. It will also aid in ensuring low latency for many enterprises run by the state in and around Delhi.

Google cloud is made use of by many services in India. The social media network, ShareChat, Cleartrip, and private sector lender HDFC Bank are among many of its customers. Google is said to have invested around $4.5 billion in Jio Platforms last year. In June, it said that they are entering into a partnership with Jio to help with tech solutions for India’s biggest wireless carrier ahead of the launch of 5G services.
