Now the wearers of Glass Enterprise Edition 2 will be able to join Google Meet with their device. Termed as Meet on Glass, the beta version is now extensively available to all Google Workspace customers. Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2 is a wearable that allows people to share a real-time of what’s present before them to their teammates or clients. This experience is reportedly making a difference in the workspace.
Meet on Glass is available in Glass and offers a simple and inherent Google Meet atmosphere. It enables one to have a first-hand experience similar to the wearer of the Glass. It is expected to connect people across geographies for collaboration in finding new solutions for problems.
It is currently available in North America, Europe, and Australia. Additionally, in Japan, the partnership with NTT DOCOMO will provide Meet on Glass directly to customers. Google considers it as a way of bringing video conferencing experiences regardless of the devices that their customers are using to connect with their team. Many companies like the CBRE have employed the use of Meet on Glass in their workspace which allows them to join the events on the Calendar with just a few taps without having to sign in or scan.
