Flipkart, the leading e-commerce marketplace, has now added three more Indian languages in its e-commerce platform to get into the deeper and wider reach of the local shopping market in the country.
They already have Hindi language option on it current platform and which was enabled last year and now they have added southern prominent languages such as Kannada, Tamil and Telugu to make the local buyers and marketers life easy.
According to the press release by Flipkart, this new launch will help reduce the access barriers to ecommerce for a large number of native language speakers. It also said that these new language interface have been built on Flipkart’s ‘Localisation and Translation Platform’.
