Bang & Olufsen launched Beoplay EQ as their first pair of noise-canceling true wireless earbuds. The device has a total of six microphones including two microphones on each earbud which take care of noise cancellation. The earbuds will be launched globally on August 19th. The earbuds will come in two colour options- Black and Gold.

Like all the other bang & Olufsen products the earbuds are also a bit pricey and cost about $150 more than Apple’s AirPods Pro. The Beoplay E8 was Bang & Olufsen’s non-noise-canceling earbuds which were lower in price than Beoplay EQ by around $50. The Beoplay EQ comes with a price tag of $399. Beoplay EQ earbuds are expected to run for 20 hours with the charging case. This is lesser than what is offered by E8. Without the charging case, both the earbuds will have almost the same battery performance of six and a half hours. The battery can be charged either by USB-C port or Qi wireless charging.

The Danish audio brand, makes use of Qualcomm’s AptX adaptive standard in Beoplay EQ which optimizes wireless audio performance. Beoplay EQ is also expected to have support for AAC and SBC codecs and carries an IP54 rating for its dust and water resistance.
