Dropbox has announced several new features on its products. These include the facility for automatic backup for photos on the user’s phone. Also, it has to be noted that this feature will be available to all the users- you don’t need to pay for the device.
Dropbox has indicated that it had made changes to make those uploads faster and “more reliable”. iOS features an additional facility to choose the folders you prefer to backup. There is also an option to delete a photo after it has been uploaded to the cloud. The feature by Dropbox will create some stir especially aa Google stopped their free unlimited uploads on its cloud.
Other than the above features, Dropbox has also introduced a tool to convert your file to a different format. The details section is also redesigned to view important information. It also added a side navigation bar to facilitate movement across different folders. Dropbox’s password manager also saw some important changes. It was made free to all users and now you can store your card information on it. Support for password sharing and free download of browser extensions are the additional features. With these seemingly simple changes, Dropbox is set to become a more attractive service.
