Apple conducted the “California Streaming” event to release its new hardware devices. Among the things released by the company were iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPad, iPad Mini, and Apple Watch 7.
iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max
The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have a new Cinematic mode that blurs the background of your films while keeping the subject in focus, as well as a more competent camera system aimed at content makers. The addition of Apple’s ProMotion display technology, on the other hand, is the feature that is most likely to persuade current iPhone customers to upgrade. The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max can vary the refresh rate of their displays up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling thanks to this function. The Pro range is priced at $999, with pre-orders beginning on September 17th and general availability on September 24th.
iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini
Apple’s less expensive iPhones didn’t get as many upgrades as their Pro counterparts, but the ones they did get are still noteworthy. The smartphones are equipped with the company’s latest A15 Bionic CPUs and larger batteries on the inside. Apple also altered its TrueDepth camera array to make it smaller, resulting in a notch on both iPhones that is less obvious but still detectable. The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini will be available for pre-order on Friday for $799 and $699, respectively, and will go on sale on September 24th.
Apple Watch 7
Yes, the Apple Watch is poised to get bigger, but the Series 7’s real story is that Apple has improved the wearable’s durability. The Apple Watch Series 7 is the first to feature dust resistance. Because of the new design, the screen is also more resistant to cracking. The Series 7 will cost $399 when it is released this fall.
iPad Mini
Apple’s iPad Mini received a significant update on Tuesday, after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus. In other words, Apple took almost everything that made the 4th-generation iPad Air so appealing and applied it to its smallest iPad. We’re talking about a refreshed design, USB-C connectivity, support for Apple’s second-generation Apple Pencil, and a brighter, more vivid display, among other improvements. Starting today, you can pre-order the iPad mini for $499 before it launches on September 24th.
iPad
The 9th-generation iPad may not appear to be much different from the company’s last entry-level tablet, but it comes with several useful additions. The most noteworthy of these is the iPad Pro’s Center Stage feature, which has a new 12-megapixel front-facing camera with an ultra-wide lens. The integration of Center Stage allows the camera to intelligently crop into the subject, keeping them in the centre of the frame at all times. When it goes on sale on September 24th, the 9th-generation iPad will cost $329.
Aside from new hardware, Apple has announced that iOS 15 will be released on September 20th. On the same day, it will release iPadOS 15 and watchOS 8. Last but not least, the business announced that Fitness+ will be updated to make it easier for customers to participate in shared virtual sessions with friends and family.
